We paid for a non-smoking room and the first room we were given smelled of cigarette smoke. I went and talked the desk person and was immediately given a different room and it was better. Hotel staff was nice ; Shallow pool for small children ; sufficient parking ; good location. Buffet food did not taste good, tip was extra as were drinks. Buffet was only applicable for adults, children were not included. ...read more

The lobby was awful with the noise and rowdiness of the bar patrons up stairs in the lobby. It took me 45 minutes of waiting to check in. On a very busy holiday weekend there was only one lady on duty and she had her hands full with problems and no help. Not her fault. JB's evening buffet was not very good. The fish was dry and not very warm. The motel itself overall as okay.

Overall, the hotel was a good value. No breakfast provided and the JB's is not a good restaurant. The hotel was clean except for the outside. We tried to help clean up trash, but there were not any garbage cans to be found. Pool was neat, we could use it even with snow on the ground because of the dome. ...read more

I liked it except for unlocking the door was hard to unlock. But other than that I would stay again.

Upon arrival we were told we only had a king size bed for 3, I reserved a room for 3 not 2. The room had not been cleaned. There were dirty towels on the floor and the bed had not even been made up from the previous guests. There were not enough towels provided for my family either. No one offered to make amends for this; we weren't even told where the ice machine was. The maids did not speak English either. It was very noisy due to the "helps" children invading the pool at very early hours yelling and screaming. We should have had a price break after all we went through, and we couldn't get another room offered to us either, they claimed to be booked. Great for a short stay. Good value and convenient. Nice breakfast buffet.

The website stated that pets were welcome and did not note a fee, but when checking in, there was a $10 fee. The website stated that there was a free breakfast with the room, but when checking in was informed that the breakfast is only free on weekdays, not weekends but they would give a discount on what turned out to be the worst, greasiest breakfast I have had in years and cost $28 for me and three children. For the money it was ok. The rooms were clean, and there was a good breakfast at a coffee shop on the property. But the bed was hard as a rock. I had a terrible time getting good nights sleep.
